Firestrike double trigger!

Hey guys, so I was contacted earlier today by a guy named AwesomeNerfer1999, who has a blog, by the way. Awesome had taken a close look at the box art of the new Firestrike, the elitified version of the Nitefinder, and he noticed something pretty unique about it. The thing has two triggers. Now I don’t know if anybody has posted about this before, but his is the only site I’ve seen mention it. On the box art you can see one large tigger, partially hidden by the docking strap on the Elite Tactical Vest, and another smaller one beneath it. Awesome speculates (and I agree) that this secondary trigger is likely to operate the Firestrikes underbelly light, assuming the Firestrike still has a light. This freedom of control over the light would be an awesome addition to the blasters functionality when it comes to stealth missions. The Nightfinders light HAD to come on before it would fire, not the best for sneaky attacks.

Another idea Awesome has is that Nerf may have upgraded the light itself. While this is unconfirmed, Nerf has been upgraded many of its products, and it wouldn’t surprise me if the new Firestrike features a light that reaches further than the Nightfinders (about 15 feet, remember?).

So shinies, what ELSE could this curious little trigger be? Tell me in the comments! And visit AwesomeNerfer1999 for another cool site to look at.

Kimosabi makes a Raider… pistol.

Sometimes Kimosabi hurts my brain. I can’t fathom how he came up with this one, but he’s taken a Raider ~ you know, one of those big 35 dart drum, slam fire, two handed blasters that put a vulcan to shame? ~ and has turned the thing into an SMG style PISTOL. The new mini-raider now has a Deploy fore-grip, and even uses some boy scout bling as a priming handle. It still retains it’s slam fire ability and he states that it can now launch stock foam darts up to 70 feet. Wizard folks, he’s a wizard.
