What’s up Nation? Yesterday I published a video promising you an armory video (a few of you have been asking for one), and today I deliver! My Nerf collection is certainly smaller than some others, but it’s organized! :] I may be getting something else soon; if I do I’m sure you’ll find out, and if the armory changes a great deal I’ll make an update video. Hope you like it!
Tons of you have been wondering where episode 5 (Mission 2 part 4) has been, and I found it! It was hiding under my bed, eating lost Nerf discs and afraid to come out because it felt it wasn’t action-y enough. But I eventually coaxed it into the daylight! I also gave it some commentary because gosh it wasn’t action-y! Sorry for the delay guys! I straight up forgot about this episode and skipped it in production! HvZ season 1 is complete!
What’s up mah shinies!? (Poll is still going but Shinies is winning) :] So I’m sure that some of you know that about a week ago I published an un-edited hour long special showcasing the 1 day HvZ event that happened on my campus. I’m sure that a lot MORE of you noticed that it was a freakin’ hour long! Knowing that super crazy long videos aren’t most peoples cup o’ tea, I made an abridged version! The only thing the new version lacks is the suspense, while still retaining 100% of the action, and shows you how I lead the humans to victory! (well, for a while at least). The new vid is only 15 minutes, so if you’re in the mood for some fast paced zombie stunnin’ action, kick back, relax, and let the darts fly!
Stay shiny! ~ Michael
This is what I was doing yesterday. :] Several of my YouTube viewers had been requesting something less edited than my other videos, so I figured I’d go ahead and answer that request. In this hour long special, I take you through a whole game of HvZ. This game occurred about two or three weeks after the week long game. I ended up leaded the human forces against the undead, and had to teach them while we completed missions. I hope you enjoy it!
The Final Hour
Nerf released these videos a couple days ago on the official Hasbro site, but the links (as I’m sure you noticed) weren’t functioning properly. In order to help get the word out on these great blasters and help generate hype for Nerf, I took a few screen recordings and have posted the videos here. I don’t own any part of these videos; I’m just helping to share the love. Enjoy!
Nerf N-Strike Elite Hail-Fire
The release date for the Hail-Fire is set for September 9th, 2012 at $39.99.
It’s lookin’ pretty sweet if you ask me. I just wonder how useful accessories will be with that handle right in front of them. You’d think it would block visibility from scopes, and I’m sure it would block some light if you attached a light onto the accessory rail. Hopefully I’m wrong, but hey, even if I’m not, it’s not really meant to be held like a rifle. So, I guess it’s not that big of a loss. Still looks sweet.
The rest of the Elite blaster videos are after the jump.
Nerf N-Strike Elite Retaliator
The release date for the Retaliator is scheduled for August 1st, 2012 at $24.99.
Strange, in the clip where the demonstrator attaches the assault grip, he puts it on with the little notch facing the back and uses it to lock his thumb into place. Yet in the next clip the assault grip is attached with that notch facing forwards. I wonder which way is correct. ?
Nerf N-Strike Elite Rampage
The release date for the Rampage is scheduled for August 1st, 2012, and will retail for $29.99.
The guy puts the darts into the clip the “wrong” way. I’m thinking it’s just a subtle reinforcement to the rumor that the foam is tougher in the new Elite darts. Can’t wait to test it out.
