My buddy Qi from Singapore has recently confirmed the rumor of getting an Elite Pinpoint Sight for free when you buy $60 (Singapore dollars I guess) from select Singapore retailers. He also shows a comparison of the Elite and N-Strike Pinpoint sights, and even shows the Elite Pinpoint briefly on the Rampage. The light looks awesome if you ask me, and I can’t wait until this thing comes stateside.
Here is Qi’s, also know as AwesomeNerfer1999, video he made on the sight. Enjoy.
By the way, I think it’s worth mentioning that Qi has been improving his video making skills A LOT over the past couple of months, and is soon going to be upgrading to a 720p mono-audio camera, so the video quality will undoubtedly continue improving. If you’d like to follow Qi and watch a member of the Nerf Nation on the other side of the planet grow and become better, subscribe to him. I did!
Happy Halloween everyone! Here’s the latest video I’ve been working on; Vapor sent me this blaster a few weeks ago, but because of school I’ve just gotten around to it. Sorry guys! As for the blaster itself, I really like it! A lot! The Atlas 250 feels ergonomic in my hand, it looks awesome, and fires little balls of jelly at your friend 60 feet away! It’s sort of like a paintball pistol, but because the gelatin capsules it fires just evaporate away, ther’s no cleanup at all. Watch the video below for my unboxing and review of the Atlas 250.
For those of you who don’t know who Johnson Arms is, prepare for a lesson in The Art of Awesome. Brian Johnson is the owner and operator of Johnson Arms, a specialty aftermarket shop for Nerf (and other brands) blasters. Brian is VERY capable of taking an average blaster and completely tricking it out into a one-of-a-kind piece of art. And they aren’t just for show; What Brian produces is fully functional and is meant for battle. I’ll make a post following this one showing a few of his latest achievements, but this post focuses on what he’s whipped up for me. I think Brian threw in some gold dust, eagle feathers, some tech out of a James Bond movie, and a whooooole lotta talent into a cauldron (probably made from crystals from Superman’s Ice Fortress) to make me this; a custom Paladin Scope. Equipped with an extra knob to give it a sniper scope feel and an internal blue glow to scare the heck out of my opponents, this bad boy will be sitting atop my blaster for the entire HvZ Reloaded series. It isn’t 100% finished as of yet, but here ya’ go, bon appetit.
You can contact Johnson Arms about making your own custom blaster by emailing him at JohnsonArms76@gmail.com.
For those of you who haven’t gotten yourself a Rampage yet, and for those who haven’t seen an unboxing… umm, I made one! Hopefully the below video will stand out as a bit higher quality than what you may have come to expect from unboxings. I hope you enjoy and would love any feedback, so tell me watcha think!
As a side note, if you haven’t yet heard, this video is on my new main YouTube channel. I don’t post everything on this blog so subscribe if you want to see everything I’m up to! ;]
Hey guys! So in case you didn’t know, I’ve been doing a lot of stuff in the background for the past month when I’ve had the chance, and I’ve just launched my new YouTube channel, ShiningFoam. The reason I made it is because I am now a product tester for NERF. I’ve already gotten my first package and am busily editing unboxings now. I have TONS of footage to sort through, but for now, I have five videos on the new channel. Here’s the Nerf Package Unboxing one. Hope you like it!
By the way, being a new channel it is still REALLY small, no matter how good the videos are. Help me grow! And if you like what you see, subscribe to keep in the loop. 😉
Nerf announced the Grand Prize Winner for the latest Battle of the Ads campaign. Jude Pedoh (sorry if I’m misspelling that) landed the victory with his video “Hey Dude!”. The short shows that Nerf is for everyone, not just one sect of people or another; It’s also very well edited, and I can definitely see why the video got top spot. Congratulations Jude. 🙂
Also, the rules said that I wasn’t allowed to publicize them until after the contest was over, but here is the rough draft and final version of my submission, “Time for Battle”. Hope you enjoy them; tell me what you think!
